The Circus Maximus is another entertainment area, where it held chariot racing, and occasional gladiator fights. The Circus Maximus had a similar history to the Pantheon. The first Circus Maximus was a wooden structure so it was burnt down, so the emperor Trajan made a marble version to reflect his power and statue. All events were free anyone can spectate, even slaves, the stadium could seat around 250,000 people.The last event held at this stadium was the chariot racing in 549 A.D.
